| 1991 & 1992 | The dark years followed by a deliberate break in his artist’s career. Discouraged by the categorical refusal of the Algerian authorities to allow all Kabyle artists who cause them trouble to give galas in Kabylia (an order coming from “above”). In Belgium, he is flooded with orders from the Belgian authorities (Foreigners Office) to leave the country in spite of the contracts and written commitments with Kitch Studio. |
